depends on how large the party is. if it is a small party you can rent a pair of nice speakers and a steroe. if its a large party you may want to get a nice dj or band to play.

Take advantage of your youth and get in as many classes as you can!
And just so you know, I love golf too. Go out at least once a week so I%26#039;m not biased. Though I have taught dance for many years too!

When I started my first %26quot;real%26quot; job, there were people in my office actually taking golf lessons just so they could get more face time with the big bosses. Lots of important business relationships and deals are made on the golf course.
Besides this, the more you do, the more interesting you are. :)
P.S. remember to thank your mom for letting you enjoy two cool and costly hobbies.

I rilly rilly want to do point this year for dance and my mom dosent want me to cause she thinks it will be too hard for me and i%26#039;m trying to talk her into it so is it hard for beginners?

Yes. I have been on pointe for 5 years and it is taxing on your body. You should talk to your teacher and doctor before you go splurge on a pair of shoes. Your back needs to be fully developed and your feet need to be strong enough. If you do end up going on pointe soon be prepared for blisters, foot soakings and plenty of ruined pedicures.

but it is sooo worht it!!!after a while it stops hurting and it just looks beautiful and its soooo worth it.

My 8th grad graduation dance is coming up. What are some tips on how to keep myself from looking like an idiot and how to dance well?
Just some basic things. (Especially slow dances...?)

Look on Amazon or ebay or do a websearch for dance lesson video or learn the texas two-step, DVD, or learn country line dancing video, etc. Arthur Murray, a famous dance studio chain, also made a video to learn some lessons at home, so do a search for Arthur Murray video/ DVD.
Also, ask an uncle or your dad or neighbor or even your mom to help you know how to follow /lead.
Also, youtube has some people giving lessons on how to moonwalk, so do a search for the type of dancing you are needing to know.

Tell him he%26#039;s a good dancer... even though most guys are just going to dance you around in dizzying cirlces. Personally, when this happens I try to take tiny steps to slow the spin... you%26#039;ll see.
Don%26#039;t turn down any offers to dance. The more you%26#039;re on the floor, the more confidence a guy will have to ask you to dance. Dance with the ugly guys, too. But if you%26#039;re not interested in him, suggest another girl he should ask (that way he knows it%26#039;s JUST A DANCE). And don%26#039;t forget to ask the guys to dance, too.
And for pete%26#039;s sake, don%26#039;t grind on anything.

I totally hate them. i just cannot stand these people. They always looking for someone to make fun of just to make themselves look better. Some normal people CAN be smart, funny, talented, good looking, but they are just so NASTY, RUDE, and MEAN!!!!!! i want to learn breakdinging really really bad if any one can tell me some where close to square one or even if some one can toutor me i would greatlly thank them with lots of cash so please help, i cant have any place far from home because my mom cant drop me so please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help with leaps!?
okay, im a dancer and i have good technique and i could do everything else good except for leaps. i dont know if im missing out an an important detail or what but i just cant get my legs up high enough. i do plie before leaping but its not working. somebody please help!

leaps are a very hard step to master.
if heights your only problem
*try strengthening all your leg muscles.
*do pink jumps with your hands out in front of you
*make sure when your about to leap you spring of the ball of your foot.
hope this helps..

just keep working on them- it took me years to get my split leaps anywhere close to right. the height issues resolved themselves as my legs strengthened and i did more and more small jumping exersises. the split part of the leap was greatly improved by practicing my straddle stretches frequently. talk to other dancers, see what works for them, and adapt to your own needs.
